Loggers Sports Festival

Twelve participants will each fell a tree, cut logs, boil tea, speed cut, axe throw and carve a chair from a log in 15 minutes.


Youth contestants will compete in a scaled-down contest : nail drive, buck saw, wood pile, chocker race, axe throw and scavenger hunt.

Other children's activities are planned and the skating rink will be open.


John Foreman will give a broad axe skill demonstration and Jerry Chapeskie will use his horses to more tree trunks around.
