Is it your last year in the MV Broomball League?

Do you want to learn the Ontario/?Canadian Broomball rules?

Do you want to play broomball at a Provincial/National level?

Are you age 13-17 (Grade 8 - 12)?

8 week clinic, 1 hour session per week

Equipment needed: Helmet with cage, shin guards, broomball shoes (not running shoes), Broomball stick, Goalie Equipment (for goalies)

Sign up Dec. 8 - If you can't make it that night call before Dec. 8 to book your spot

First night on ice will depend on rink start-up/weather.

Bring: raspberry-pruning device, gloves, eye protection, ear protection, water, snacks plus handsaws, pruners and/or loppers and a backpack.
NOTE! Trail signage is NOT up yet (we take it down every spring).

Saturday December 8 • in the afternoon
Join us for our annual Yurt Social... at Diane's Yurt! We'll do a bit of trail clearing, drink hot chocolate and enjoy a bonfire. You can also register for your annual membership. And...last year, we were lucky enough to open for skiing on that date!

Our own member Ritsuko will create a variety of winter decorations, including a table centre piece and an outdoor wreath. She is happy to share techniques and knowledge she has learned through her 25-year experience as a flower arranger. This will also be a preparing session for our 2020 Flower and Vegetable Show! Her creations will be raffled off at the end of the meeting to donate to a community charity.

Please bring a donation for the MV Food Bank. Every year we collect several hundred dollars worth of non-perishable foods and cash donations to help those less fortunate in our community.
